Project Description

A complete mobile fueling system to support the operation of up to 15 hydrogen fuel cell electric buses at the Sunset Maintenance Facility (SMF). The mobile fueling system is intended to be used as an interim method of fueling fuel cell electric buses during the design and construction of a larger and permanent hydrogen fueling system. The mobile fueling system is expected to dispense hydrogen via compression of gaseous hydrogen supplied to the facility via drop and swap’ tube trailers to the hydrogen fuel cell electric buses or by pumping and gasifying cryogenic-liquid hydrogen. The supplier for this scope of work shall provide all of the physical infrastructure required for the mobile fueling system to operate.
